In November, Dr. Yurij Gerasymchuk, a senior researcher at the Institute of Low Temperature and Structure Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Wrocław, visited the Faculty of Physics and Information Technology of the F. Skorina State University in Gomel. The TransFerr project involves the scientific cooperation of scientists from different countries in order to synthesize ferrites in various ways, to study the properties of the obtained materials and possible areas of their application by delegating project participants. During the secondment, Dr. Yurij Gerasymchuk also gave a lecture for students of the faculty entitled “Production and properties of photoactive and magnetic nanomaterials for use in biology and medicine”.
