In January this year, as part of the international project TransFerr of the European Union’s Science and Innovation Program HORIZON 2020, the Dr. Paweł Głuchowski, representing Nanoceramics, Inc. (Wrocław, Poland) visited the Francisk Skorina Gomel State University (FSGSU) in Belarus. The possibilities of introducing the scientific results obtained jointly by Belarusian and Polish scientists during the TransFerr project were discussed with the head of the Department of Optics, Dr. Vladimir Gaishun, the project manager on the Belarusian side. The prospects for the use of metamaterials developed by scientists from FSGSU were discussed by Dr. Głuchowski with the scientific director of the Research Laboratory “Physics of Wave Processes”, PhD in Physics and Mathematics, Professor Igor Semchenko.
